The YouTube channel will show animations made by us for the website, and the pick of things by children who will be offered access to an upgrade during the Coral Reef ecosystem project.

To test the potential appeal of very simple animations in the age of Pixel, we commissioned a new graduate of an animation course to make 'A Cliff Too Far' in the style of a silent movie. The story is based on Molly falling down a cliff and being rescued by the MollyCopter. At the premiere with our focus group when Molly fell, a girl exclaimed, 'Oh no, will she be all right?', and was shedding gentle tears. Case proved. Animations can be accessed via the MBC tv screen and several other locations on the Molly's World home page: the MollySub, MollyRocket and in the MollyMuseum.

The animations below - 'A Cave too Far' and 'Coral Reef' - and the animated 'Nilotic Scene in Ancient Egypt' were made using the app and can all be reached by tapping the image.
